The Plague (Adiris) is a harrowing and tragic Killer in Dead by Daylight, drawn from ancient Babylonian myth and worship. Once a devoted high priestess who sought to serve her gods through purity and ritual, Adiris was consumed by illness and despair. Her faith twisted into fanaticism, and she spread her sickness as a form of worship, believing her pestilence to be divine judgment. In the Entity’s realm, The Plague wields her horrific Vile Purge — a stream of infectious bile that vomits sickness onto Survivors and objects. Those struck by it grow progressively more ill, coughing, vomiting, and eventually becoming Injured without ever being directly attacked. Survivors must cleanse themselves at Pools of Devotion, but in doing so, they risk empowering her with the deadly Corrupt Purge, a devastating red vomit that directly damages anyone it touches. Towering and draped in ceremonial garb, her body is ravaged by disease, yet she carries herself with eerie grace, her chants echoing like a corrupted prayer. The Plague thrives on attrition and area control, spreading her infection to weaken Survivors over time until they collapse under her relentless divine plague.
